Follow us through the installation steps of a typical pump to gravity drainfield.

 

 

Septic tank and pump tank just set in a appropriately excavated hole, with step down to pump tank to ensure proper slope in cross connection gravity pipe.

Same septic tank and pump tank after proper bedding, cross connections, inlet connection, and installation of risers. Notice modern septic tank includes 24 inch risers and lids directly above inlet and outlet baffles for ease of maintenance.
